R.F. Ryan is a Pennsylvania based author with a background in counseling psychology, bringing a deep understanding of human resilience and emotional complexity to epic fantasy. A mythological storyteller exploring identity, inheritance, and power through layered allegory, Ryan crafts narratives where consequence shapes character and transformation carries weight.

Raised on Tolkien, Rowling, and Martin, Ryan began imagining the story of a boy destined to become a dragon at just ten years old. That early spark evolved into the Legacy of the Lost series, a sweeping saga where myth and humanity collide across luminous and shadowed worlds.
